Vintage diamond and sapphire ring. A dazzling old European cut diamond in a bezel setting sits at the center of a unique pinched navette frame, set with vertical rows of tiny rose cut diamonds and table cut sapphires, and punctuated by rows of fine milgrain. Two dainty leaf motifs, trimmed with rose cut diamonds and milgrain join the flat, knife-edge shank to the face on each side. The undercarriage is simple. A stunning and original statement ring with a bold design.
-center diamond at .60 carats, J color, VS1 clarity, eye clean. -Side diamonds total an additional .10 carats, and sapphire accents total approx. .16 carats. -Circa 1930s. French hallmarks for minimum of 18K gold, and tests as 18K gold. -This ring is in very good vintage condition.
